Actress, playwright, producer, and director Maggie Carey hails from the US. She has helmed hilarious television shorts in addition to the 2013 film The To-Do List, which she also wrote and directed. Carey grew up in Boise, Idaho, where she was born. After attending Jackson Elementary and West Junior High, she received her diploma from Borah High School in 1993. The To-Do List, a movie Carey made after her time as a lifeguard at the Borah pool, was inspired by that experience.
